Shen and Suzanne met at church. It started with the church leadership course. Shen made a comment about Suzanne her socks and then Suzanne started noticing Shen. After seeing each other a few times at the church leadership course, there was a vibe and they wanted to know more about each other.
Suzanne was a member of the student association of Best life church called ‘Vita Optima’. Shen was also there after he was once invited by the leader because he also guided boys to get closer to Jesus who were students. Then they started talking again and of course Suzanne asked if Shen wants to join Vita Optima. Shen didn’t know it yet, but he didn’t think it was such a bad idea.
Suzanne was on the cooking team and is still on it. Because Suzanne asked whether Shen wanted to join Vita Optima, Shen responded: ‘If you can cook well, I will definitely come’. Suzanne’s best friend was nearby and she mentioned that Suzanne would be cooking the next day for the two of them. Then Shen had said he would come the next day, he had kind of invited himself. He showed his hand for a high five and Suzanne gave him a high five. Shen then said: ‘This one is sealed’. The next day Shen was surprisingly in her room with Suzanne and her bestfriend.
They had a wonderful time of prayer, talking and eating. At the end of this evening, Shen had finally asked Suzanne for her number after two months. Then the two of them quickly started dating. Within a week and a half, Shen had said he liked Suzanne and Suzanne was surprised because that same morning she prayed to God: ‘when is the perfect time to tell Shen that I like him’. Then they started dating to get married and eventually they both receive confirmation from God that they are meant for each other after seeking God a lot for answers.
Now they are together and want to build God’s Kingdom. Their dream is to tell many people about the good news and that Jesus died for their sins so that you can live a life of hope, faith, love and abundance forever.
